A painting exhibition by Anusheh Hussain, was inaugurated on 4th December 2004 at Osho World Galleria.
The artist Anusheh Hussain was born and brought up in Pakistan and is currently living in India. Her creative expression is inspired by the spiritual philosophies and traditions of this land and especially by Osho. In this collection of paintings, she uses the symbol of the moon to depict the master in his varied moods and his signature as a unique expression of the myriad facets of life. All proceeds from the sale of these paintings will be donated to IFSHA (Interventions for Support Healing and Awareness), a healing center located in New Delhi.
"Colors of Earth", an exhibition of textiles by Avani was also launched simultaneously. "Colors of Earth" is an exhibition of purely hand woven, naturally dyed and environment friendly products like shawls, mufflers, stoles, robes etc in wild silk such as Eri, Muga and Tussar.
Osho World is dedicated to the vision of the enlightened mystic Osho and the galleria offers complete works of Osho consisting over 9,000 discourses, 650 books, lifestyle products created by different artists, like sculptures, ceramics, paintings, paper products, candles and textiles. In its effort to bring out the creativity in an individual to the fore, Osho World organizes exhibitions, performances, presentations and expositions by artists.
