"Dewdrops", the spring-summer collection of garments and home furnishings in linen and chanderi by Haiku, was launched at Osho World galleria on 17th March 2006.
The Haiku Collection at Osho World offers a range of garments and accessories which are inspired by the Zen character of a soft and minimilastic appeal where the fabric and styling has its innate beauty uncluttered by any extraneous embellishments.
With the dawn of spring, the Haiku Collection launched 'Dewdrops' a line of garments for men and women of kurtas, tops, pyjamas, robes, stoles etc in comfortable yet elegant styles white, sand and blueberry colours predominate in Irish linens and Chanderi. The Collection enthuses the theme as drops of dew glisten on the velvety surface of the lotus leaf, fresh and cool marking the onset of another beautiful day.
Most of the women's ensembles are a coordinate of a pyjama and inner in linen and an over jacket in chanderi. The Collection fuses the western silhouettes with the eastern look where the chanderi over jacket gives a classic and modest statement for a thirty plus women. The men's kurtas and shirts too have a soft unstructured style. The garments make an excellent statement for semiformal day wear as well as loungewear for summer evenings.
"Art is a conscious effort to create beauty, to discover beauty, to make your life more joyful, to teach you to dance, to celebrate".
