"Flight into Unknown", an exhibition of photographs of birds by Swami Amano Samarpan was inaugurated by ace photographer Avinash Pasricha at Osho World galleria, BG-09, Ansal Plaza, New Delhi, on 17th March 2006.

The photographs on exhibit depicted wild birds of India rarely seen before. Swami Samarpan says that identifying birds in the wild is not the only reason for watching birds; but we have a deep need to be touched by their magnificence.

Osho says, "A bird flying in the sky does not leave any footprints, nor is any path created behind it. So it is with the sky of truth. Those who are liberated fly in it, but neither are any footprints left behind them, nor is any path created."

Prints of the photographs and Swami Samarpan's recently published book "A photographic guide to the BIRDS OF INDIA including Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Bhutan" was highlighted during the exhibition at the galleria.

Swami Amano Samarpan comes from the United Kingdom but has been visiting India for almost 30 years. He is a meditator and occasionally facilitates sessions. "Listen to the chirping of the birds, without the chirping of the mind inside!"
