Osho World Foundation is presented "Tantra: The Song of Mahamudra" a visualization of Tantra through dance by Padmashri Dr. Ileana Citaristi and her troupe at FICCI auditorium, Tansen Marg, Mandi House, New Delhi on 12th November 2006. Choreographed by Dr. Ileana Citaristi and conceived in three segments, the performance will have first slokas from saundaryalahari, the tantric text dedicated to the female energy representing the ascent of the Kundalini. The music was composed by Pandit Gopal Panda.
The second, EXPLORATION, was an item of pure nritya. A joyful play between two dancers who explore the space around the central gravity point in alternate movements of attraction and expansion. The music was composed by Sri Laxmikanta Palit.
The third one, SARAHA, was inspired by the tale of Saraha, the founder of the Tantric discipline in the Tibetan region. Music was composed by Anwar Khurshid.
Sitar maestro Anwar Khurshid dedicated a solo sitar concert during the event, accompanied by Hari Mohan Sharma on tabla.
