"Bliss", an exhibition of sculptures
"Bliss", an exhibition of sculptures on the theme of "lotus" by sculptor Kamalnayan Deori was launched at Osho World galleria, BG-09, Ansal Plaza, New Delhi on 20th December 2007, at 6.00 pm.

In continuation to the painting exhibition "The Awakening", "Bliss" is also based on the theme of "lotus", the flower that is symbolic of the ultimate flowering of human consciousness.

Osho says, "One has become a lotus flower. The lotus flower is in the water but the water does not touch it, the lotus flower comes out of the mud but is beyond all mud. That's why in the East the lotus flower has become the symbol of enlightenment itself. Buddha is depicted sitting on a lotus flower. Vishnu is standing on a lotus flower. And the ultimate state of consciousness, SAHASRAR means a one-thousand-petalled lotus flower. The lotus flower is a symbol, a metaphor, for transcendence."

Sculptor Kamalnayan Deori is a graduate from College of Art, New Delhi. He has to his credit many group and solo exhibitions in India and abroad. One of his celebrated collection has been installed in "The Garden of Five Senses", New Delhi.
