Guru Purnima: The Day of All the Buddhas

Every year on the full moon of July, the Hindi month of Ashadh, disciples gather at the feet of their master to express their gratitude towards Him. And this expression is very joyous and celebrative. Osho disciples in India and the rest of the world gather in Osho meditation centres to meditate and celebrate.

The month of July is quite hot in India and New Delhi weather is not so attractive but still Hundreds of Osho lovers came to attend a 5-day Guru Purnima Mahotsav ( also known as Osho Full Moon Festival ) at Oshodham on 22-26 July. The hot weather did not dampen their spirits to attend this celebration. It was eagerly awaited and the disciples from all over India turned up in large number. 39 people were initiated into Osho Sannyas by the meditation camp facilitators Swami Chaitanya Keerti and Ma Dharm Jyoti. On the last two days, 25 and 26 July, the celebration was scaling new heights with sannyasins singing and dancing and intensely feeling the Master's presence. It was an oceanic feeling during the evening satsang in white robe.

Osho says about this day: "And this Guru Purnima Day is the day of all the Buddhas, all those who have become aware. In their remembrance, become aware. The grove is here in front of you. You can see that luminous light. It is here! You can hear that celestial sound; that music is happening. And you

can be soaked into my fragrance. It depends on you -- how much you are ready to take, how much you are willing to take..."
