Osho Enlightenment Day Celebration & Launch of “The Point Of Vanishing”
Osho Enlightenment day was celebrated with meditations and music at Oshodham and Osho World galleria, New Delhi.
On March 15, singer Rashmi Agarwal dedicated an evening of devotional songs to the enlightened mystic to mark the inauguration of Osho Enlightenment week at the galleria.
A 5-day meditation-celebration camp from March 17 to 21, was conducted at Oshodham, facilitated by Swami Satya Vedant and Swami Ravindra Bharti.
On March 21, Swami Deva Rashid’s (Rashid Maxwell) book “The Point of Vanishing” was launched during the celebration at Oshodham. This book is an adventure story, spiritual but not religious. It tells of a journey to self-realisation; a journey that we all must make at some time in the cycle of our lives. Victor is escaping from a world of crumbling institutions, power and paranoia. He faces, one by one, the heartaches and the inner challenges we human beings are called upon to face. He tangles with a tantric lover, faces death in a meeting with his long dead parents and flounders in the mirages of mind. We travel with him through the sometimes tragic, sometimes comic landscapes of the modern world. In this expansive work the author interweaves related stories from his own inexplicable life.
This book was later launched in the marketplace at osho World galleria on March 22, with a special book reading session by the author and Film maker & Poetess Dr. Lavlin Thadani. Later the author singed copies for the book lovers present during the launch.
