Posted by Swami Gobind    Saturday, August 04, 2012 at 04:42

A three day meditation intensive was conducted by Swami Satya Vedant in Surrey/Vancouver on July 20, 21 and 22, 2012, as part of a 7 cities tour of US and Canada. The camp was attended by about 30 participants. The three days were complete with blissful experience of many participants who touched new heights in meditation and some newer participants got the first glimpse of Osho meditations.

Swami Satya Vedant is traveling in the US and Canada to facilitate meditation events under the name of “Journey from Alone to Alone“ in several cities till August 2012. During the meditation intensives some of the meditation techniques devised by Osho were conducted to rediscover the real being in its innocence and purity. Osho defines meditation as total sensitivity. The workshops have been aimed to lead the meditators into experience of inner harmony, relaxation and expanded awareness.

Besides the meditations, the camp provided ample time for celebration which included dancing, talking together and eating delicious vegetarian food. A highlight of the camp was the opportunity to become an Osho sannyasin. Five friends were initiated into Osho’s neo sannyas. The friends of Osho welcome guests, usually on Sundays, for either Osho Dynamic Meditation or Osho Kundalini Meditation. The schedule and location for these and other Osho gatherings, as well as pictures taken at the camp, are available at http://www.meetup.com/OshoVancouver
