The flat weaved kilims are the most ancient form of carpet invented by man. Some ancient pieces have been found in the archeological site near Khotan in Turkestan that goes back 1.500 years ago. They are easy to clean and to move around.

Their geometrical designs represent aspects of daily life, religious symbols and auspicious motifs. Kilims can be found in several places around the world… but the most varied collection and highest quality is from Turkey.
