Union Sports Minister, M. S. Gill, paid a surprise visit to the Osho pavilion at the World Book Fair held in New Delhi last month and expressed interest in Osho literature. Among the celebrities who visited the Osho pavilion were distinguished artistes Padma Vibhushan Sonal Mansingh, Dhrupad Maestro Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar who has just been conferred with the Padma Shri, a senior BJP Leader VK Malhotra, TV Personality Pratibha Advani, humourist poets Surendra Sharma and Arun Jemini, noted singer Rashmi Agarwal and a former CBI Director Joginder Singh.
Four new Osho books were launched by the visiting eminent persons. “Past the Point of No return” a compilation of individual Osho sannyasins inner and outer journeys, compiled by Ma Anand Bhagawati and “Bharat: Samasyayen Va Samadhaan”, a compilation of Osho’s insight on Resurgent India, compiled by Dr. Vasant Joshi (Swami Satya Vedant) have been published by Osho World Foundation. “The Luminous Rebel: Life Story of a Maverick Mystic” and “If It Could Happen to Buddha, Why Not You”, both books authored by Dr. Vasant Joshi (Swami Satya Vedant) have been published by Wisdom Tree.
In addition to the new books, a collection of 40 New Osho discourses in DVDs were also launched. “Songs of Kabir” a music CD sung by Singer Rashmi Agarwal and published by Osho World Foundation, was also launched at the Book Fair.
With its meditation music and Osho videos, the Osho pavilion was a scene of constant interest and activity at the book fair.
