The recollection
- Swami Chaitanya Keerti recalled that he started his work in 1974. in more than 40 years, he had been the editor of ‘Osho Times’ and had worked upon 300 of his writing.
- Osho’s work ‘In search of the miraculous’ influenced him to work towards meditation and for the organization.
In the contemporary era, when people are running endless errands and chores to mint money, the happiness, it appears, has gone missing somewhere in the rush.
“Through meditation, we help people in actualising their happiness, which is sourced from with-in,” said Swami Chaitanya Keerti at the inauguration of the three days Osho Meditation Camp.
The event is being conducted at the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Chowk, in the state capital.
Speaking on meditative techniques, Swami Chaitanya Keerti revealed, “We start the session at 7am with dynamic meditation techniques. It encompasses cathartic ways to release and realise emotions. And, then we move on to rhythmic breathing.”
He added that rhythmic breathing helped people achieve calm and quiet stance.
“It is important in situations which trigger fear and anger in an individual. In such situations, the breathing becomes shallow which in-turn takes a toll on our health. Rhythmic breathing helps in controlling and mastering senses,” he said.
Speaking over the mystiques of hypnotism, Keerti claimed that it could be both use and abused.
“In Russia, people experimented and played educational stuff while the child was asleep. Surprisingly, the kid learnt 10 percent more while he was asleep. Consequently, it was deduced that the human mind grasps better during sleep and it was termed as ‘hypnopedia’ by the experts,” he said.
Speaking about his visit, Swami Chaitanya Keerti added: “The Osho-camp aims at extending the existential techniques of meditation instead of perplexing people with technicalities. Meditation helps in changing the perception of good. As a broken mirror cannot reflect a whole some picture, a fissured spirit cannot lead to happiness.”
On being asked about the fee being charged at the camp, he quipped: “There is no fee as such but we do willingly accept a sahyog rashi (contribution amount) of Rs. 700.” NN Tiwari, a follower at the camp, said, “I have been a town planner. I follow Osho’s ideology and his work because he has been a great seeker of truth and a profound thinker. I would like to continue my pursuit for the same.
